Wright Inspiration

“First to fly were Dayton’s brothers! Great deeds old inspire the new!” This line from WSU’s alma mater perfectly describes this wonderful creation by the Library Student Assistants and Friends. It transports us back to the work of Daytonians Orville and Wilbur Wright as they attempted to make their dream of man powered flight become reality, the intricate detail on Wright Inspiration – modeled after younger brother Orville (you can tell by the mustache and trademark bowler hat) – gives you a sense of the creative genius of Wright State’s beloved namesakes.
